European Day of Languages at Kingfisher

1st September 2016
The European Day of Languages is a time to celebrate the 6,000+ languages spoken around the world, promote language learning and have some multilingual fun!

On Monday the 26th September the Kingfisher School celebrated the international day of languages. There were flag hunts for Key Stage 1 and Early Years and a flag quiz for the older children. The day ended with an international cafe in the playground with food from Hungary, India, Russia, Latvia, Poland and many more! Thank you to all the parents and staff who contributed! A big well done to all the children who took part in the poster competition. The winners were: Bella Davis, Karol Gladysz, Louise Hunt and Tia Tamas.
